Swim Aberdeen is a leading destination for children's swimming lessons. Through our range of swimming programs, we aim to empower kids to stay active, socialize, and have a great time while prioritizing their well-being and skill development.
Our Levels
Crabs (3-4 Yrs)
Classes are limited to eight Swimmers to one Teacher and Assistant and last for 30 Minutes. Our Crabs classes are focused on structured play and are suitable for swimmers ages 3 and 4.
Stage 1 (5 Yrs+)
Classes are limited to eight Swimmers to one Teacher and Assistant and last for 30 Minutes. Our Stage 1 classes are for non swimmers from the age of 5.
Stage 2 (5 Yrs+)
Classes are limited to eight Swimmers to one Teacher and Assistant and last for 30 Minutes. Our Stage 2 classes are for beginners who can swim 5m on front and back.
Stage 3 (5 Yrs+)
Classes are limited to eight Swimmers to one Teacher and Assistant and last for 30 Minutes. Our Stage 3 classes are for improvers who can swim 10m of Front, Back & Breaststroke.
Frequently Asked Questions
When and how will I be charged for lessons?
All fees are non-refundable.
Your initial space is secured with a non-refundable deposit.
Fees for lessons are taken every month, on the first of the month. We will notify you seven days before, via email, stating the amount you will be charged and which lesson dates it covers.
Can I go in the pool with my child for lessons?
No, Swim Aberdeen do not operate any adult and baby or adult and child lessons.
Some exceptions apply here, however this is not the norm.
All of our teachers are very experienced with dealing with nervous children and they will alter their teaching methods and approach based on the needs of the swimmer.
Do lessons continue over the school holidays?
Yes, however, Swim Aberdeen do not run lessons over the Christmas holidays. In the event that your lessons falls during these times you will not be charged for this at time of booking. Your invoice will be amended to reflect the closures.
What if I or my child has never been in the water before?
All of our teachers are very experienced with dealing with nervous swimmers and they will alter their teaching methods and approach based on the needs of the swimmer.
How many swimmers are in each class?
Our Pre-School, Beginner and Improver lessons have a max of 8 children per class.
How long do lessons last for?
Our lessons last for 30 minutes.
How much do lessons cost?
Group Lesson: £7.50
Private Lesson (121): £25.00
What ages do you teach?
We teach children and adults from the age of 3.
Can I watch my child swim?
Yes, one spectator is allowed per swimmer.
Are teachers in the water?
Yes, during the lessons the teacher is in the water.
